Hatch and University of Toronto host first Energy Researchers Forum

Hatch and the University of Toronto?s Centre for Sustainable Energy hosted the first Energy Researchers Forum on November 12, 2012 at Hatch?s Mississauga office.
In attendance were members of the U of T engineering faculty, postdoctoral researchers, Hatch scholarship recipients and graduate students along with key representation from Hatch including John Bianchini, John Pearson, Bert Wasmund and a number of energy directors and colleagues.? The purpose of the forum was to discuss energy-related research and development topics and to explore opportunities for collaboration.

- Biofuels, presented by Professor Bradley Saville, U of T
- Hybrid Power, presented by Rob Lydan, Hatch
- Fuel Cells, presented by Professor Olivera Kesler, U of T
- NSERC CREATE ? Distributed Generation for Remote Communities, presented by Professor Aimy Bazylak, U of T
- Wind Farm Layout Optimization, presented by Dr. David Romero, U of T
- Hydro Energy, presented by Professor Bryan Karney, U of T
- Conversion of CO2 to Liquid Fuels via Artificial Photosynthesis, presented by Professor Geoffrey Ozin, U of T
- Hydro Power, presented by Stuart Bridgeman, Hatch.
Hatch currently sponsors the research of ten master?s and doctoral candidates working in sustainable energy fields at U of T.
