Le conditionel pr?sent ? Present conditional practice

AUDIO below, with Anne?s French accent

Let?s work on the conditional mode today. If you feel a bit rusty, you may want to review the rules here or here as a Premium member. I thought we could translate 5 sentences into English to start with, and then translate 5 sentences into French, which is a bit more complicated.

?

1. Ils n?ach?teraient pas une telle voiture.

2. J?arriverais ? Marseille.

3. Elles pourraient le faire.

4. Ne voudriez-vous pas y aller?

5. Elle serait contente/heureuse.

6. Would we (form.) watch the game anyway?

7. You (sing.) would have a ?deudeuche?.

8. He would go for a walk if the weather allowed.

9. I would hold the basket for you.

10. We (inf.) wouldn?t know where to start.
