Dwayne Johnson Eating Plan ? How The Rock Eats ... - Trying Fitness

by TryingFitness on October 6, 2012

My earlier post about Dwayne Johnson's legendary cheat meals received a good amount of traffic, so I figured why not go the opposite route and post about how The Rock eats clean. As you know, one's diet is plays an integral role in fitness. Whether you refer to a healthy diet as "clean eating" or just "common sense" eating, it all boils down to cutting out the junk that causes weight gain. Having a good exercise routine is important but I have heard on many occasions that fitness begins in the kitchen. That means, how you eat truly determines your overall success in terms of health & fitness.

So let's take a look at just how Dwayne Johnson eats and then I'll post his sample eating plan which was posted in an issue of Men's Health magazine. First off, if you follow Dwayne Johnson's Twitter, you will get a peak into his routine. He posts often about his workouts and nutrition as well as posting pictures of both. Best of all, he is highly motivational, posting inspirational quotes and sharing his own inspiring input on chasing greatness.

Pictured below is a meal he has tweeted most often. Steak, eggs, and a ridiculously large sized bowl of oatmeal:

A second breakfast consists of 10oz cod & 12oz sweet potato:
